Summer Youth Programs

General Information about Summer Programs

The Creamery Arts Center is excited to offer a variety of all-day summer art camps for the 2008 season. Each class will feature a stand-alone, start to-finish art project, integrated with science, math or language concepts, as well as outdoor excursions and exercise.

To assist working families, the programs will run from 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. The cost for these programs will be kept to a reasonable $30 per session, which includes the cost of materials. The Cocker Kids Foundation has supplied 30, need-based scholarships to support participation in the program. Applications are available at the Creamery, or you may download one here.

Tuesdays and Thursdays will be targeted to elementary age children, with a total of 18 days, while 9 Wednesdays will be targeted to teens. The 2008 summer program will begin June 3 and end July 31st.

The Creamery has currently arranged partnerships and sponsorships with the Black Canyon Audubon Society, Hotchkiss Fine Art Assn./Black Canyon Exhibit, Partners/Art Partners, as well as community and Creamery volunteers to make these programs possible. We are hoping to build further partnerships as our plans progress.

We have donated 2 day-passes to the Crawford Pioneer Days auction.
