North Fork Youth Artists

The teen students plan to invite Creamery Artists to teach specific media and techniques on a weekly basis with a follow-up day. Students who wish to pursue a subject further may apply for scholarships to ongoing classes. The young artists intend to raise money for materials and scholarships by holding fundraisers and writing grants. The youth will be in charge of contracting and scheduling artist sessions, keeping track of money, running meetings, keeping records of meetings, advertising their programs and bringing the community into the process.

This program will be free of charge and open to kids from middle through high school. Younger kids are welcome if they are serious and focused. An adult coach will be present at all meetings to help the visiting artist and to supervise behavior, but the students will run the show.

Please return the form to the Creamery prior to the first day of attendance.
